Clamp is a tool that strengthens or supports an object firmly. And that was the only function of the tool. We wanted to escape the stereotype of the tool to change it into a interior product. With the function of the clamp we thought of a product that clamps on the side of the table. By locking it up on the side of the table, the user can put their items on top of the tray. Therefore the 'personal belongings' exist on the side of the table, it is presenting an additional space.The clamp can be switched into a lamp from a tray. Lamp also takes up a lot of space and by clamping the lamp to the side, the table will have more free space.

기존의 클램프들은 본연의 기능에 충실하였다. 우리는 이러한 고정관념을 탈피해서 인테리어 용품으로 사용하고자 하였다. 클램프의 본연의 기능은 사물과 사물을 고정 시켜주는 것이다. 이러한 기능적인 부분을 살리고자 책상에서 활용하는 것을 생각하였다. 책상에 고정을 시키고 사용자가 중요시하는 물건들을 클램프와 연결한 트레이에 올려 놓는다. 이로써 나만의 물건들을 책상 한켠에 지정해 책상의 본연의 사용성을 늘려주어 사용자들에게 제 2의 공간을 선사한다. 또한 우리의 클램프는 스탠드 조명으로 갈아끼울 수 있다. 트레이와 같이 책상에서 부피를 많이 차지하는 물건인 스탠드 조명을 클램프로 책상 가장자리에 끼우면 책상의 사용성을 살려준다.
