Is light just for illumination? I want light to be something that provides warmth and serenity for the space people live in, which is why I am redefining and pursuing new experiences light can give us. AWA is a brand new light fixture that came about as a part of these endeavors. It keeps the internal pressure of the airtight glass in equilibrium through a small medical pump and a pressure control mechanism, creating an infinite number of bubbles. Inside the glass, the bubble cells repeat an endless cycle of inflation and collapse. The equilibrium of the bubble cells, and the harmony between light and shadow, all produce a poetic experience.

光はものを照らすだけのものだろうか。「光が人々の生活空間にやすらぎや温もりを与えるものであって欲しい」との思いから、光が生み出す体験を追及している。AWAは、その一貫で生まれた全く新しい照明である。小型医療用ポンプと圧力制御機構により、密閉されたガラス内部の気圧を均衡に保ち、無限に泡を生みだす。ガラスの中で、泡のセル同士は絶えず粗大化と崩壊を繰り返す。泡のセル同士の均衡状態が生み出すテクスチャ、光と影の調和が、詩的な体験を生み出す。
