English	This work is a binding design that expresses the aesthetic sense of Japan, which was designed from a different perspective than the traditional Japanese style. I designed a typography on a black background that makes another space appear in the title letters. By superimposing letters with slightly thicker strength on top of letters composed of lines like threads, the depth and duality of Japanese cultural perspectives are expressed. On the back, while quoting a part of the text of "In Praise of Shadows"I am trying to make the space conscious between the two sentences by composing letters along the curve.
Native	これは、装丁の作品展のために制作した作品です。 谷崎潤一郎の『陰翳礼讃』の装丁をデザインしました。 影を愛で、陰を味わう日本の文化を説いた『陰翳礼讃』の世界を表現するために、 タイトル文字の中に別の空間が浮かびあがるようなタイポグラフィを黒い背景にの上にデザインしています。 同時にこれは日本文化のもつ二面性も表現しています。 糸のような線で構成された文字の上にやや太めの強弱がついた文字を重ねることで 日本の文化的視点の奥深さを重ねて見ることができます。 また、背面には『陰翳礼讃』の文章の一編を引用しながら 曲線に沿って文字を組み、2つの文章の間に空間を意識させる試みを加えています。 従来の日本らしさとは違う視点でデザインした日本の美意識を表現した装丁デザインです。
