The project of ‘NC TYPE PLAY’ started with the perspective of viewing games that let you express yourself through the character and communicate with others, as a language. There are countless exciting movements involved in NCSOFT’s game like pulling arrows and running through the wind. We’ve captured the essence of these kind of plays, and converted it into a visual language that can be typed and copied. The tap on the keyboard would generate catchy images instead of the alphabet. ‘NC TYPE PLAY’ is designed to write letters, numbers, and special characters. Anyone could easily access to download and create their own images.

우리는 언어를 통해 자신을 표현하고 타인과 소통한다. 소통할 수 있는 모든 형태를 ‘언어’라고 하기에, 음악이나 춤과 같은 예술도 우리는 하나의 언어라고 한다. ‘NC TYPE PLAY’는 캐릭터를 통해 나를 표현하고 타인과 소통할 수 있는 게임 플레이를 하나의 ‘언어’로 바라보는 시각에서 출발하였다. 엔씨소프트 게임 속에는 다양한 움직임이 있다. 예를 들면, 활시위를 당기며 공격을 하기도 하고 바람을 가르며 질주를 하기도 한다. 이러한 플레이를 이미지로 그려낸 다음, 타이핑해서 쓸 수 있는 그림 언어 형태로 만들었다. ‘NC TYPE PLAY’는 알파벳부터 숫자, 특수문자까지 모두 사용할 수 있도록 제작되었다. 서체에 레귤러 타입과 볼드 타입이 있듯, ‘NC TYPE PLAY’에도 Regular타입과 Level-up타입이 있다. Regular타입에서는 게임 속에서 일어나는 모든 움직임을 담았고 Level-up타입은 그 움직임이 상호작용을 하며 더 파워풀한 형태를 띠게 된다. ‘NC TYPE PLAY’는 서체처럼 누구나 쉽게 다운로드 받아 자신만의 이미지를 만들어보며 새로운 창작의 세계로 이어지게 된다.
