English	Korea ranks fourth in sodium intake in the world. Not only in Korea, but also around the world, it still consumes more than twice the recommended daily sodium intake. This project uses ramen, which is popular both in Korea and abroad, as a metaphor, and develops main graphics with a constant sodium content scale per bend of the noodles, so that you can see easily the history of sodium over-consumption from 2010 to 2021. This can be found in the infographic book of the "YUM" project, which is based on the English expression "tasty" and the sounds of Chinese meaning "salt," and suggests practical alternatives, thereby helping reducing sodium.
Native	한국은 전세계에서 나트륨 섭취량 4위를 차지하고 있습니다. 한국 뿐만 아니라 미국, 일본, 영국 등 세계적으로도 여전히 일일 나트륨 권장량의 2배 이상을 섭취하여, 관련 질병의 위험에 노출되어 있는 실태입니다. 본 프로젝트는 국내와 해외에서 모두 대중성을 가진 라면을 메타포로 삼고, 면발의 굴곡 하나 당, 일정한 나트륨 함량 스케일을 적용한 메인 그래픽과 타이포그래피를 개발하여 2010년부터 2021년까지 나트륨 과잉 섭취 역사를 한눈에 볼 수 있도록 합니다. 이는 맛있다는 영어 표현과 소금을 뜻하는 한자의 음을 딴, "염(YUM)”프로젝트의 인포그래픽 북을 통해 확인할 수 있으며, 동시에 나트륨 과잉 섭취의 위험성, 나트륨 감소를 위한 실천적인 대안 등을 제안함으로써, 나트륨에 대해 만연해진 인식을 다시 함양하고자 합니다.
