English	Strait Culture and Art Center consists of a multi-functional theater,opera house, concert hall,art museum,film center,central culture hall and ancillary buildings. The five main buildings form five white jasmine petals,the Liang Chu River is like a flower stalk passing through the middle of the petals,and several small petals form a water-friendly platform deep into the Min River, which together form a magnificent Chinese picture of "water, moon and sky with jasmine flowers". 1/Refining and innovation of Chinese culture 2/Application and innovation of Chinese materials—Ceramics and bamboo 3/Experience Center for ordinary citizens
Native	海峡文化艺术中心包括多功能戏剧厅、歌剧院、音乐厅、艺术博物馆、影视中心、中央文化大厅以及附属用房组成。五个主体建筑形成五个洁白的茉莉花瓣，梁厝河犹如花柄从花瓣中间穿过，几个小花瓣形成的亲水平台深入闽江，共同形成了一幅“水月江天茉莉花”的壮美中国图景。 1、体验中心 海峡文化艺术中心设计的出发点是“为普通使用者提供非凡的体验”。梁厝河两岸的商业步行街、亲水平台与未来地铁线路相连，通过“眼睛”部位的旋转楼梯到达屋顶观景平台，再从两侧的大坡道进入深入闽江的茉莉花广场。同时，茉莉花广场又与闽江亲水步道相连。深入闽江的广场建设有城市防洪设施，使建筑真正成为城市景观的一部分，为普通市民的平凡生活服务。 2、建筑材料 海峡文化艺术中心采用了兼具地域和自然属性的材料——陶制材料和竹材。这些材料的使用凸显了环保生态设计理念，让自然之感与中国特色元素相融。主体建筑正立面由共4万多根1760mm的陶棍百叶组成；背面为3.66万块标准件尺寸为800mmX400mm的矩形陶板。 据不完全统计，海峡文化艺术中心项目是目前世界最大的陶制幕墙建筑。 3、室内设计 室内墙面对陶片和竹材的运用更加中国化。多功能厅的墙上铺设坚固的CNC切割竹块，如层层波浪缓缓展开，连成一片。歌剧院约2000㎡墙上“绽放”着约150万朵三维茉莉花陶片。音乐厅墙体由约2.5万片白色釉面陶瓷百叶拼接而成。这些陶片具有“中国传统宣纸的褶皱感”及“牡丹”图案，整体效果优雅灵动，立体感强烈。这些传统元素共同组成了一幅幅具有中国审美意境的图景。
