Through skillful movements, blockages, combinations, and separations, a visually stunning space (full of metaphorical meaning) is created, shich provides strong support for the actors' performances. Inspired by Eastern aesthetics, the stage design evolves from "a blank page", "a line of text" to "a piece of painting," that weave together the visual language of the performance and ultimately form a grand book. In the final scene, a ship carrying the book, “The Creation of Heaven and Earth”, symbolizing the journey of Ming Dynasty science and culture setting sail to the wider world stage. |

在明代美学中,“大”“简”“巧”三字犹如璀璨星辰,引领着《天工开物》舞台剧的视觉航向。这不仅是一场演出,更是一次穿越时空的文化之旅,将明代智慧与美学精髓娓娓道来。
《天工开物》以书为媒,巧妙融合书中标志性元素——白描秀像、雕版文字、书页版框,构建了一幅幅生动的历史画卷。从“一页白纸”的纯净起始,到“一段文字”的深邃探索,再到“一张绘画”的绚烂绽放,直至“一本书卷”的厚重沉淀,舞台视觉的每一次递进,都伴随着主人公宋应星的心路历程,生动展现了《天工开物》中的“乃粒”“乃服”等篇章,让观众仿佛置身于那个辉煌的时代。
