English	Pine Cascade is geologically meaningful and important for having Mt. Geumjeong, representing Busan, on its back and a famous place with an old pine tree and a villa, more than a 100-year-old, on its front. The site has three different layers and We focused on the design to connect and put them together to one complex. First, we further expanded the terrace visually which was already widened by the layer gap. Second, we planted wild plants and made a pine grove, walking trails in the complex for the green corridor. And we greened retaining walls. Lastly, we constructed three different waterscape facilities in the layered resting place.
Native	파인 케스케이드의 배경으로는 부산을 대표하는 금정산을 전면에는 노송(老松)이 유명한 100년 이상의 별장을 갖춘 명소가 있어 통경축으로서 중요한 지리적 의미를 갖는 곳입니다. 해당 부지는 레벨차로 인해 3개의 단으로 구성되어 있고, 이를 하나의 단지로 통합하고 연결하는 데에 설계의 주안점을 두었습니다. 첫번째는 단차로 발생한 넓은 테라스공간을 전망공간으로 특화하여 시각적으로 공간을 확장하고, 오래된 지역 명소와 금정산의 아름다운 경관을 한눈에 조망 가능하도록 조성하였습니다. 두번째는 주변의 대형 녹지축을 단지내로 끌여 들이기 위해 금정산을 대표하는 소나무 숲과 자생식물을 식재하고 단을 분리하는 옹벽에 벽면녹화를 통해 생태적 연속성을 가질 수 있도록 계획하였습니다. 세번째로는 각 단차별 휴게공간에 폰드, 케스케이드, 자연형 연못 등 3가지 형태의 수경시설을 조화롭게 계획하여 시각적으로 다채로운 공간을 조성하였습니다. 이러한 계획을 통해 파인 캐스케이드를 해당 지역의 생태적, 경관적 통로로 활용하고 도심속에서 잔잔한 물소리를 들으며 자연과 어우러지는 공간을 주민들에게 선사하고자 합니다.
