National parks in Korea removed trash bins to protect ecosystems, but visitors now lack disposal points and hide waste in rock gaps or behind trees, or dump it illegally. Peak Pouch is a trash-bag dispenser upcycled from wood and plastic collected on-site, supporting circularity and conservation. Inspired by Hallasan’s Baengnokdam crater and labeled with each park’s name and colors, it builds attachment. After hiking, a built-in magnetic hook sticks to steel furniture to hold notes, keeping zero-waste habits in daily life. Distributed through forest conservation campaigns and as a souvenir, it turns memories into action.

대한민국 국립공원은 생태계 보호를 위해 쓰레기통을 철거했으나, 이에 따라 예상치 못한 쓰레기 문제와 환경 훼손에 직면했습니다. 적절한 처리 공간을 찾지 못한 탐방객들이 바위 틈이나 나무 뒤에 쓰레기를 은밀하게 숨기거나 무단 투기하는 사례가 늘고 있습니다. 이러한 문제 해결을 위해 고안된 Peak Pouch는 국립공원에서 수거한 폐목재와 폐플라스틱을 업사이클링하여 제작된 친환경 휴대용 쓰레기봉투 디스펜서로, 자원 선순환과 환경 보전을 동시에 실현합니다. 한라산 백록담 분화구의 부드러운 곡선에서 영감을 받은 디자인과 각 국립공원의 이름 및 고유 색상을 적용하여 탐방객이 자연과 감성적으로 연결되고 방문지에 대한 애착을 높이도록 유도합니다. 롤 형태의 쓰레기봉투와 함께 제공되어 사용 후 봉투를 걸고 보관할 수 있으며, 마그넷이 내장된 봉투걸이는 산행이 끝난 후 철제 가구등에 부착해 메모 등 을 고정하는 인테리어 오브제로 활용됩니다. 이러한 확장은 사용자가 일상에서도 자연 보호의 역할을 되새기며 지속 가능한 실천을 이어가도록 돕습니다. Peak Pouch는 산림 보전 캠페인 및 기념품으로 제공되어 탐방의 기억을 행동으로 연결하는 제로 웨이스트 실천을 확산합니다.
