Doyoung Kim is the founder of the Asia Design Prize and a dedicated expert who has focused solely on design awards for the past 20 years. In 2008, he launched his business with Designsori, a media platform that supports and promotes participation in design awards worldwide. He is the founder of the Asia Design Prize and K-Design Award. Notably, the K-Design Award, which represents South Korea, has achieved remarkable success and is now recognized as one of the top three design awards in Asia. His vision is to 'elevate the status of designers worldwide to the highest level'. To achieve this, he prioritizes qualitative growth over quantitative expansion and focuses on strengthening the sustainability of businesses. With a deep commitment, he strives to build an award brand that will endure for the next 100 years. He is also the author of Designer’s Guide to Design Competitions and Design Studio Startup Note.
김도영은 아시아 디자인 프라이즈 창립자로, 지난 20년간 오직 디자인 어워드에만 집중한 전문가입니다. 2008년, 전 세계 디자인 어워드의 출품을 돕고 촉진하는 미디어인 디자인소리를 시작으로 사업을 시작했습니다. 그는 아시아 디자인 프라이즈와 K-디자인 어워드를 창시했습니다. 특히, 한국을 대표하는 디자인상인 K-디자인 어워드는 현재 아시아 3대 디자인상 중 하나로 불릴 정도로 큰 성공을 거두고 있습니다. 그의 비전은 '전 세계 디자이너의 위상을 극도로 끌어올리는 것'이며, 이를 위해 양적 성장보다는 질적 성장, 그리고 기업의 생존력 강화에 주력하고 있습니다. 그는 100년 후에도 지속될 어워드 브랜드를 만들기 위해 진심을 다하고 있습니다. 저서로는 <디자이너's 디자인 공모전, 디자인 스튜디오 창업 노트> 가 있습니다.
