Founder Naoki Iijima
Born in Saitama, Japan, in 1949, Naoki Iijima graduated from the Department of Architecture at Musashino Art University. After working at Super Potato, he founded Naoki Iijima Design in 1985. His multidisciplinary practice spans architecture, interior design, and product design, encompassing commercial facilities, restaurants, offices, and residences. He has received numerous design honors and has served as a jury member for major international and Japanese design awards, including the Good Design Award, JCD Design Award, and FRAME Award. He is a former Chairman of the Japan Commercial Environmental Design Association (JCD), Professor Emeritus at Kogakuin University, and Senior Regular Member of the Spatial Designers Support Organization of Japan (SSOJ).
