This project addresses the rising prevalence of genetic diseases and familial medical history, attributing it to genetic mutations and environmental factors. Using the metaphor of a Matryoshka doll, the graphic representation illustrates the hereditary connectivity of various disorders across generations. Incidence rates of genetic diseases are quantified through the doll's gradual expansion, employing cross- sections and three-dimensional elements for visual diversity. The goal is to enhance public awareness through an infographic book, fostering understanding of genetic linkages and promoting practical measures for disease prevention.

유전질환 및 가족력 질환은 유전자의 결함과 다양한 환경적인 요인들로 증가하고 있습니다. 유전질환과 가족력 질환은 모두 세대를 거쳐 유전적으로 연결성을 가집니다. 본 프로젝트에서는 이러한 유전질환과 가족력 질환에 대한 올바른 상식을 전달하고 여러 질환의 유전적 연결성에 대한 인식을 확립하고자 기획되었습니다. 인형 안에 인형이 존재하는 마트료시카를 메타포로 활용하여 질병의 유전적 특성을 그래픽으로 표현합니다. 각종 유전질환과 가족력 질환을 발생률을 수치화하고, 마트료시카가 점차 확장되어 가는 모습으로 표현하였습니다. 그리고 마트료시카의 단면과 입체감을 활용해 다양한 변주를 주어 그래픽을 제작했습니다. 인포그래픽 책을 통해 유전 질환에 대한 사회적 인식을 함양할 수 있으며, 질환 예방을 위한 실천적인 방안을 모색할 수 있습니다.
