English	The conical element serves various purposes—hanging items, color-coded grouping, or creating booths by threading ropes through holes. The fusion of cones, lines, curves, and colors exudes a distinctive charm, transitioning from "unusual" to "modern." Stacking these elements forms an art piece, enhancing spatial dynamics when exhibited. Utilizing traditional techniques without metal parts allows flexible maintenance, aligning with modern design pursuits. This stool, blending tradition with innovation, is apt for the contemporary era.and indoor use.
Native	京都駅ビル空間構成する要素を「伝統」「異質」「モダン」と解釈し、それらを増幅するデザインにしました。社寺仏閣の柱の力強さを脚に用い「伝統」を表現しました。厚めの座面は、有機曲線を描くことで木のぬくもりや質感を強く身体へ伝えます。幕板の三角構成は円との対比により、ダイナミックなバランスを演出します。安定感と軽快さを表現し、視覚的にも空間的にも興味深いコントラストを与え「異質」な雰囲気を醸します。角柱に突き刺さった特徴的な円錐は、個性が際立たつ様に着色を行い、視覚的アクセントを考えました。この円錐材は小物をかける、付け替えて色ごとにグループ分けをする、外して穴にロープを通しブースを設営する等、様々な使用が可能です。円錐、直線、曲線、色彩、が融合し、独特の「異質」さから「モダン」へと魅力を発信することができます。これらのデザイン要素が、スタッキングする事で、アートピースとしても成り立ち、空間性がより一層豊かになります。ホゾと楔の継ぎは、木材同士の結合が強化され、金属部品を使わなくても耐久性が向上します。劣化した際もメンテナンスや部材の付け替えなどに柔軟に対応できます。この加工は伝統的な技術でありながら、機能性とデザインを追求する現代の設計にも適用できます。伝統的な技術と新しい試みを併せ持つこのスツールはまさにこれからの時代にふさわしいと考えます。
