Slac offers a new way for people with hearing loss to fully engage with diverse sounds of daily life. From audio content to bus announcements, sound is a vital part of how we connect with the world. However, traditional hearing aids, which simply amplify sound, often fail to deliver the clarity users need and build stereotypes with their design. As hearing loss becomes more common among people in their 10s to 40s, Slac overcomes these limitations with a stylish, accessory-like design that can be worn every day. It also provides precise sound adjustments tailored to individual hearing loss types, helping users hear sounds that best suit them.

Slac은 난청을 겪는 사람들이 일상 속 다양한 소리와 함께 살아갈 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제시합니다. 오디오 콘텐츠에서 버스 안내음까지, 소리는 우리의 삶을 이어주는 중요한 요소입니다. 그러나 난청 환자들은 소리를 키우기만 하는 보청기의 제한적인 기능으로 인해 필요한 소리를 온전히 듣지 못하고 있으며, 기존 보청기의 형태는 사회적 고정관념을 강화하고 있습니다. 10-40대의 난청 환자가 늘어나고 있는 오늘날, Slac은 이러한 한계를 넘기 위해 액세서리처럼 일상에서 부담 없이 착용할 수 있는 디자인과 개인의 난청 유형에 맞춘 섬세한 소리 조절 기능을 통해 난청 환자들이 일상 속에서 자신에게 맞는 소리를 들을 수 있도록 돕습니다.
