Asia Design Prize has officially announced that its 2026 Grand Ceremony will be held at Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul. Marking its 10th anniversary, the event will bring together award winners, jurors, and global design leaders to celebrate a decade of excellence in Asian design.
A Stage of Honor for the 10th Anniversary
Since its inception in 2017, Asia Design Prize has evolved into a global platform that connects Asia’s creative heritage with the world. Under its guiding slogan, “Legacy Beyond Asia,” the award has transcended the traditional boundaries of recognition to become a business-driven platform that empowers designers and amplifies the value of their work. The 2026 ceremony, commemorating a decade of legacy, will take place at Josun Palace Gangnam — a venue that embodies prestige, contemporary luxury, and the true spirit of design excellence.
Josun Palace – The Pinnacle of Korean Luxury
As one of Korea’s most distinguished five-star hotels, Josun Palace Gangnam is part of Marriott International’s Luxury Collection, renowned for its refined design, impeccable service, and modern reinterpretation of Korean aesthetics. The Asia Design Prize Organizing Committee stated,
“For our 10th anniversary, we sought a venue that truly represents the dignity and authority of design itself. Josun Palace perfectly aligns with the vision and standards we uphold.”
Asia Design Forum 2026: A Global Design Dialogue
Coinciding with the award ceremony, the Asia Design Forum 2026 will also be held as part of the event, serving as a global stage for creative exchange. The forum will convene world-renowned jurors, award-winning designers, brand directors, and investors to discuss topics such as design innovation, business strategy, sustainability, and brand leadership.
A Decade of Legacy, a New Era Ahead
Doyoung Kim, Founder and CEO of DESIGNSORI, stated,
“The past decade has been about proving the creative potential of Asia to the world. The next decade will be about expanding that legacy into global influence. Holding our 10th anniversary ceremony at Josun Palace symbolizes not only the dignity of design we have cultivated, but also a bold declaration of what lies ahead.”
