The Seoul Lantern Festival, launched in 2009 and marking its 17th edition in 2025, is a representative winter nighttime festival in Seoul, transforming urban waterways into immersive light-filled spaces. Held along Cheonggyecheon Stream and Ui Stream under the theme “My Light, Our Dream, Seoul’s Magic,” the key visual features a wizard’s staff as the source of light. Radiating light and particles symbolize the festival’s opening and the moment when individual lights come together as a shared dream, expressing the energy of light installations, media art, and the festival’s interactive spirit.

서울빛초롱축제는 2009년 시작해 올해로 17회를 맞이한 서울 대표 야간 빛 축제로, 도심 속 수변 공간을 무대로 빛 조형물 전시와 다양한 체험 프로그램을 통해 매년 새로운 밤의 풍경을 선보여 왔습니다. 2025 서울빛초롱축제는 “나의 빛, 우리의 꿈, 서울의 마법”을 주제로 청계천과 우이천 일대에서 펼쳐지는 겨울 밤의 특별한 순간을 담아냅니다. 키비주얼은 ‘빛·꿈·마법’을 직관적으로 전달하고자 마법사의 지팡이를 주요 모티프로 설정하였으며, 지팡이에서 퍼져 나가는 빛과 파티클은 축제의 개막과 함께 관람객 각자의 빛이 모여 하나의 꿈이 되는 순간을 상징합니다. 유기적으로 확산되는 빛의 흐름은 현장에서 경험할 창의적인 빛 조형물과 미디어아트의 에너지를 시각화하며, 서울의 겨울을 대표하는 문화 콘텐츠로서 축제의 매력을 전달합니다.
