‘Forest Mood’ is bioplastic skincare package designs inspired by tree rings. People all over the world have been interested in organic; moreover, people are concerns due to the artificial chemicals in the skincare. Organic skincare industry increase in size each year. But, many companies still has a lack of concern for the plastic package. Recently, environmental regulation limits disposable plastic, and it directly affect to user promote awareness about the planet. I designed the bioplastic package not only giving a message it is an eco-friendly product to user, but also to promote a sense of participation in the protection of environment.

‘포레스트 무드’는 나무의 나이테 형상에 모티브를 얻어 디자인된 바이오 플라스틱 소재의 스킨케어 패키지이다. 전 세계적으로 유기농, 친환경에 대한 소비자의 관심이 커지면서 자연스럽게 식품뿐만이 아니라 몸에 바르는 스킨케어 제품에 포함된 화학성분에 대한 관심도 늘어났다. 유기농 성분이 포함된 스킨케어 시장이 커졌지만, 정작 내용물을 담고 있는 플라스틱 패키지에 대한 관심은 부족했었다. 최근, 환경규제로 인해 일회용 플라스틱 용품이 제한되면서 지구 환경에 미치는 플라스틱 패키지에 대한 경각심이 소비자에게 직접적으로 다가왔다. 이에 자연분해가 가능한 특수소재로 제작한 패키지를 통해 유저에게 친환경 스킨케어 용품을 사용하고 있다는 메시지뿐만 아니라, 시각적으로도 좀 더 적극적으로 자연과 나, 그리고 환경 보호에 동참하고 있다는 의식을 심어줄 수 있도록 디자인했다.
