Flip Mirror is a desk mirror designed to organize frequently used small items in a visually calm and intuitive way. While traditional desk trays aim to create order, they often expose objects and add visual clutter. Flip Mirror addresses this issue by concealing small desk essentials behind a mirror surface, allowing the desk to remain clean and composed. By translating the idea of a “place where objects belong” into its form, the act of flipping the mirror becomes part of the organizing experience, redefining everyday desk storage through simplicity and function.

Flip Mirror는 책상 위에서 자주 사용하는 소형 물건들을 보다 정돈된 방식으로 수납할 수 있도록 제안하는 데스크 미러이다. 기존의 데스크 트레이는 정리를 위한 도구임에도 불구하고, 물건을 그대로 노출시켜 오히려 책상 위를 어수선하게 만드는 경우가 많다. Flip Mirror는 이러한 문제의식에서 출발해, 트레이에 올려두는 간단한 소품들을 거울이라는 기능 요소 뒤로 자연스럽게 가려주는 구조를 설계하였다. 더 나아가 ‘물건이 머무는 공간’이라는 개념을 조형 언어로 풀어내, 거울을 여닫는 행위 자체가 정리 경험이 되도록 디자인하였다. 이는 기능적 수납을 넘어, 일상 속 시각적 질서를 회복하는 데스크 오브젝트를 지향한다.
