English	'Folding Hangeul' focused on the creation principle and scalability of Hangeul. In the process of folding the mat in various directions, users realize the principle of combining Hangeul and making it easy to remember. Folding Hangeul is based on the characteristics of a folding screen that can effectively express the principles and components of Hangeul. Experience consonants and vowels in various ways through graphics that connect in Dancheong colors and expand Hangeul to infinity. Folding Hangeul has the potential to expand beyond understanding the unique combination system of Hangeul in daily as a medium for conveying cultural values.
Native	‘훈민정음 돗자리’는 한글의 창제 원리와 확장성에 주목했습니다. 모아쓰기와 풀어쓰기 방식에 따라 총 11,172자를 창작할 수 있는 한글은 사용자에 맞게 다양한 방식으로 접어 쓰는 돗자리와 닮은 점이 많습니다. 돗자리를 여러 방향으로 접는 과정에서 한글의 조합 원리를 몸소 깨닫고, 글자를 더 쉽고 재미있게 기억하도록 합니다. 훈민정음 돗자리는 한옥에서 사용된 병풍의 구조적 특징을 모티브로 했습니다. 면마다 다양한 의미를 내포하는 병풍은 훈민정음의 제자 원리를 담아내면서도 한글의 닿자, 홑자, 받침자 구성을 효과적으로 표현할 수 있는 방법입니다. 이러한 병풍의 특징은 접어 쓰는 돗자리의 교구면과도 연결 지을 수 있습니다. 단청색으로 연결되는 그래픽 패턴을 설계하여 자음과 모음을 다양한 방식으로 읽게 하고 한글을 무한대로 확장합니다. 이처럼 훈민정음 돗자리는 일상 속에서 한글의 독특한 조합 체계를 이해하는 것을 넘어 문화적 가치를 전달하는 매개체로서 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 가집니다.
