The project is located in Pinghu, Longgang District, Shenzhen. It is a Grade-1 fire station with a plot area of 6,301.97 m², which can accommodate 8 fire engines.
Different from tradition fire station design that creates an inner courtyard-style route for fire engines, this project allows fire engines leave the fire station via an exit nearby the street, which greatly improves emergency response efficiency. Entrance hall, canteen, equipment storeroom are set on 1F; duty room and office are on 2F;lavatory and shower room are on the north side; operation room and auxiliary room are on 3F and 4F. The basement mainly accommodates equipment rooms.

山厦消防站坐落于“城畔乡间”，北侧为荒地，西侧为中环大道，南侧为园区规划二路，东侧为菜地。项目位置独立、远眺城市，我们将消防站西侧贴临中环大道，东侧留出尽可能大的花园，设计一栋“紧凑型”消防站。
山厦消防站位于深圳市龙岗区平湖街道，用地面积6301.97㎡，属于一级消防站，可停放8辆消防车。总建筑面积5055.3㎡，包括一栋3层消防业务大楼和一栋7层训练塔及一层地下室，是一座处在城乡之间的典型“集中式”消防站。
为了提高出车效率，设计采用“临街出车”的方式，车库直接面对西侧的中环大道，一层为门厅、餐厅、器材库等，二层东侧为备勤室、西侧配套盥洗室和淋浴间，三层为业务用房和辅助用房，地下室为应急救援仓库和设备用房。
我们采用现代简约的设计手法，用S形折板、木色盒子、竖向格栅、体块穿插、材料对比等手法，在集约而紧凑的形体上，清晰地表达了建筑功能和形式的对应关系。
