The form of the 'Hanok Eaves Chair' seamlessly combines sharp edges and gentle curves, reminiscent of the slightly raised eaves of a traditional Korean house. Up close, it appears dynamic, but from a distance, it maintains a serene presence. The design is intentionally kept concise, with attention to detail in the manufacturing process serving as a focal point. The connection between the backrest and armrest is achieved using a traditional joinery called half-blind dovetail, revealing the essence of craftsmanship. This approach encapsulates the simplicity, proportion, and material beauty inherent in Korean aesthetics.
Native
