English	The resin of pine, which has long been disliked because it is high in resin and difficult to use and maintain, has been transformed into a beautiful material through various processing techniques and changed it to an advanced design. During the day, the interior side glows red due to the natural light, and at night, the exterior side glows red due to the indoor lighting. The red glowing surface is inverted during the day and night. The fat wood glows a bewitching red, like stained glass. In addition, as the resin ages, it permeates the entire grain, and the surface changes to a beautiful amber color, lighting up with a deeper red.
Native	樹脂が多く、使用方法やメンテナンスに困り、昔から毛嫌いされてきた松の樹脂を様々な加工技術によって、美しい素材に変化させて、先進的なデザインに昇華する。これまで用いられてこなかった木の素材を美しい素材に変えて、日々の生活で用いられる建具を創ることで、森林資源の木を循環させていく。肥松材を特殊な加工で薄い板に製材し、本来和紙を貼るところに肥松の薄い板をはめ込んで、肥松の障子をつくる。肥松の板材は、昼は外部の自然光により屋内側の面が、夜は屋内の照明より屋外側の面が、赤く妖艶に光りだす。昼夜で赤く光り出す面が反転し、見え方が変化する。光を捉えて、赤く妖艶に光り出す肥松は、木のステンドグラスのようだ。また、経年変化により、樹脂が全体の木目に浸透していき、表層は美しい飴色へと変化することで、より深い赤で肥松の障子が妖艶に光り出す。木の特性を活かした肥松の障子が、様々な空間に華を添える先進的なデザインとなることを信じている。
