EPISODE redefines fandom engagement for active seniors by integrating piezoelectric energy harvesting into the concert experience. As seniors cheer, clap, and move to support their favorite artists, piezoelectric capsules and films capture this energy, which is then donated to energy-vulnerable communities under the fandom’s name. This approach transforms typical concert merchandise into a sustainable, shared experience that fosters a culture of lasting social impact. By blending innovation and inclusivity, EPISODE enhances both fandom culture and the positive influence of live events on society.

액티브 시니어는 경제적, 시간적 여유를 갖추며 팬덤 문화 속 새로운 소비자층으로 떠올랐습니다. 이들은 팬덤을 하나의 공동체로 결속시키는 굿즈를 함께 착용하고, 기부 문화에 참여하기도 합니다. 에피소드는 이들의 팬덤 문화에 압전소자와 압전필름을 활용한 에너지 하베스팅 기술을 결합하여 새로운 기부 시스템을 제안합니다. 시니어는 에피소드와 함께 콘서트에 가서 몸과 팔을 흔들고, 열렬히 뛰며 아티스트를 향한 더 큰 응원과 열정을 드러냅니다. 에피소드의 압전소자 캡슐은 이들이 콘서트장에서 흔들며 발생시키는 진동을 전력으로 변환하고, 압전필름은 박수를 치거나 밟을 때 발생하는 압력을 전력으로 변환시킵니다. 이처럼 액티브 시니어들이 응원하며 만든 에너지를 팬덤의 이름으로 취약계층에게 기부해 긍정적인 영향을 끼치고, 일회성으로만 사용되던 굿즈 사용을 개선하여 지속 가능한 콘서트 문화를 만들어가는 것에 기여합니다.
