The “Eternal Heart Lantern” is a public art project integrating environmental sustainability, cultural heritage and innovative design. Co-created by Zhinan Temple and an artistic team, it transforms retired porcelain bushings from Taipower utility poles into safe, eco-friendly candle holders used in the century-old “Mountain and River Ritual” in Taipei. Symbolizing “electricity giving birth to fire,” the lantern expresses sustainability values and ESG principles, uniting religious faith, environmental reuse and cultural innovation.

「永心燈」計畫結合環保理念與文化傳承，透過台電退役電桿變壓器的二次瓷套管再利用，賦予廢棄材料新生命，象徵人與自然和諧共生的守護之光。這些瓷套管原用於穩定電力輸送，具備絕緣、防水與耐候特性，隨台灣電桿地下化後遭淘汰，如今被重新設計為燭火台，體現資源再生與物盡其用的價值。指南宮為台北木柵地區的重要信仰中心，擁有逾百年歷史的「山川祭典」是其年度宗教盛事。2023年，「永心燈」首次於祭典中登場，將電力材料轉化為火焰媒介，象徵「電火相生」，代表守護眾生與天地自然的精神融合，延續百年儀式的文化底蘊，並注入現代永續意涵。在技術上，永心燈採用專利設計的金屬燈芯與生植燃料「biounifuel」，此高閃點燃料即使翻倒也不會引發火勢蔓延，燃燒僅在燭芯上進行，兼具安全性與環保性。整體設計無廢料排放，耐火耐用，實踐ESG精神，為環境保護與文化延續提供兼具實用性與象徵性的典範。此計畫融合循環經濟、傳統信仰與創新設計，使永心燈成為象徵永續與文化共生的重要載體。
