A new symbol was designed based on the pentagonal pear blossom motif of Ewha Womans High School (Ewha Hakdang Foundation), the co-host alongside Kyunghyang Shinmun. Musical notes rotate rhythmically and converge to form the symbol, creating a sense of dynamic movement. The symbol also represents light: its central core conveys both the intensity of the competitive arena and the radiant future of emerging performers and their stages. In particular, the imagery used on the pamphlet cover and banners was created using generative AI, evoking a surreal atmosphere in which golden pear blossoms bloom across a luminous stage.

국내 최고 권위의 클래식음악 등용문인 이화경향음악콩쿠르는 조성진, 손열음, 장한나, 정경화, 정명화, 강동석 등 세계적인 음악가들을 배출했습니다. 74년이라는 역사와 전통에도 불구하고 제대로 정립된 브랜드 아이덴티티가 부재했습니다. 경향신문과 더불어 공동주최사인 이화여자고등학교(학교법인 이화학당)의 오각형 배꽃의 형태를 기반으로 음표들이 리드미컬하게 돌아가며 모여드는 심볼을 설계했습니다. 이 심볼은 빛을 형상화한 것이기도 한데 중앙의 부분은 치열한 경연의 장을 표현하면서도 빛나는 미래의 연주자와 무대를 상징하고 있습니다. 74회 경연의 팸플릿 표지와 배너, 포스터, 현수막 등을 디자인했습니다. 특히 팸플릿 표지와 배너에 사용된 이미지는 생성형AI를 활용하여 금빛으로 빛나는 배꽃들이 무대에 피어나는 초현실적인 분위기를 연출했습니다.
