English	Gyeongbokgung Palace, a national treasure of South Korea, is the most visited site by international tourists. Despite its current majesty, it suffered destruction in the past. "BACK OF GYEONGBOKGUNG" reveals its hidden history and pain. The graphic style was inspired by the “Dapo-style structure,” connecting circles and squares with lines to represent intricate architectural techniques. Distorted typography, resembling bomb damage, conveys the sorrow and untold stories of the Joseon Dynasty.
Native	경복궁은 대한민국의 국유재산으로 인정받는 문화재이며 외국인 방문객 수가 가장 많은 곳이다. 하지만 과거에는 불타고 소실되었던 아픔을 겪었으며, 수많은 재건 끝에 현재의 웅장한 모습을 갖추게 되었다. ‘BACK OF GYEONGBOKGUNG’ 은 과거 소실되었던 경복궁의 이면을 알리고 역사적 아픔을 시각적으로 경험해 볼 수 있도록 제작되었다. 메인 그래픽은 경복궁의 건축 방식인 ‘다포식 구조도’에서 영감을 받아 제작하였다. 기본 도형인 원과 사각형을 선으로 이어 정교한 구조의 설계방식을 연상할 수 있도록 하였고, 반복과 연결을 통한 패턴을 제작하여 목조 건축물의 뛰어난 연결방식을 표현하였다. 또한, 폭탄을 맞은 것처럼 망가진 글자로 내용을 구성하여 한국을 방문한 외국인들에게 조선이 겪었던 역사적 아픔을 간접적으로 체험할 수 있도록 제작하였다.
