The entrance and the living room were designed to give off the feeling of a hotel’s reception area and lounge, respectively, and the master bedroom was set up with a focus on the furniture with a low-level indirect background illumination. In contrast to the overall atmosphere of the house, however, the second room, which also serves as a guest room, was composed in a bright, modern space to enable not only a change in surroundings but also a sophisticated reception for guests. This is a project in which we strove to really capture the value customers were looking for when thinking about their life in a serious manner.

싱글남의 집은 도심의 아파트이지만 집에서 만큼은 온전한 휴식을 취하고 싶은 클라이언트의 삶의 지향점에 따라 위크엔드 하우스와 같은 분위기를 유도했다. 현관은 호텔의 리셉션 공간을, 거실은 라운지 공간을 느낄 수 있도록 계획하였고, 마스터 배드룸에서는 낮은 조도의 간접 조명을 배경으로 가구에 초점을 맞춰 디자인 하였다. 반면, 게스트룸을 겸하는 세컨드룸은 전체의 분위기와 상반되게 모던하고 밝은 공간으로 구성해 기분전환과 격식 있는 손님 맞이를 할 수 있도록 하였다. 본인의 삶을 진지하게 고민하는 클라이언트의 가치를 담기 위해 노력한 프로젝트이다.
