the world is working toward sustainable. And upcycling is one of the topic that all the industries has been working on. So we have work out the project with design student on the problem, and target to handle the waste by creating multifunctional as well as design of the waste from day one. We have design combaintion of material product of DEESAWAT (teakwood), and SCG (cement) into the modular concept. One of the reason for modula concept is that they can be multifunctional before they turn into waste. And as for teakwood, they are solid teakwood with the minimize profile, so they can be used as future raw material for future production.

One of the reason that we decide to collaborate with SCG is that Cement is one of the material that is hard to recycle, and it take a lot of enegy and trasportation to handle with their waste. Generally cement end up with landfill. So we have design cement with 3D printing technology to safe the moulding cost/waste. And all the piece was design with the lego concept where they can be utilized in multifunctional (extended the first lifecycle). But once they turn into waste, we have designed the breaking point where they can be break and utilized as gardening decoration.
