The site was originally a military base, so the design team has made significant changes to the outlook. And the route was also re-planned to create an environment with low interference between people and vehicles. The space is designed to be barrier-free for both inside and outside. In addition, there is a plaza, adult pavilion, children pavilion, and indoor exhibition spaces. Finally, the design team reverses the impression of the military base and the concept of the social welfare center to create a new playground for people of all ages.

原先園區原為軍事營區，因此在外觀整理上做了很大的變動，無論是給水、排水、電線等基礎設施，在經過周全縝密的考察過程中全部地下化，且地面也重新規劃主次動線，打造低度人車干擾的環境，園區是經過繁複的溝通與協調，才能呈現出乾淨明亮的結果。另外為了符合全年齡族群的活動場域，空間中無論室內外都規劃出適合幼童、青年、壯年、長者、身障人士等無障礙空間。動態如：適合小孩遊玩的月形沙坑、積木高塔滑梯、挑戰遊戲場、奔跑草原；適合長輩的林蔭散步道、樂齡活力區。靜態如：露天穿堂、大人館、小孩館室內展演空間。設計團隊不只翻轉軍事園區沉悶的印象，也顛覆對社福中心的概念，將格局提升、空間打開後，打造全新亮點遊戲場域，讓園區成為全方位適合各階層年紀的族群使用的共融空間。
