9 Staunton reimagines a 1970s six-storey tong lau into sophisticated serviced apartments in Hong Kong’s SOHO district. Balancing heritage and modernity, the design maximizes space and light with open layouts, balconies, and rounded partitions. Terrazzo flooring ties the past to the present, while bold Victoria green kit kat tiles in the kitchen blend retro aesthetics with contemporary style. Overlooking the restored Central Police Station, the project honours Hong Kong’s architectural history while delivering timeless functionality.
