This uniquely configured chair draws inspiration from the Eames Aluminium Group chair and gives it an innovative twist. Constructed partly in sprung steel, the chair offers a very comfortable, cushioning feel as one takes a seat. The design is innovative in its construction as the metal strap which sits above the bent steel tube absorbs much of the tensile stress in the frame, particularly in the upper ‘hair-pin’ bend and prevents the tube from collapsing under compression in the inner bend radius. The chair is part of a suite comprising also of lounge chair and stool.
