XCIX is a design studio founded by a designer born in 1999 at a university on 99 Street. The name reflects the overlap of the university address and the designer birth year, embodying "endless exploration" The Roman numeral XCIX(99) symbolizes a step toward perfection, just shy of 100, representing infinite possibilities in design. We strive for perfection by continually reinterpreting and evolving our work, viewing completion as a starting point for further exploration. The XCIX logo combines 'XC' in an antique serif typeface and 'IX' in a simple sans-serif. This contrast reflects our future-oriented approach and universal perspective.

디자인 스튜디오 XCIX는 99년생의 디자이너가 99번지에 있는 대학교에서 설립한 스튜디오입니다. 출생 연도와 전문 지식을 쌓는 첫 순간의 시기가 우연히 겹쳤고, 추구하는 방향성인 끝없는 탐구와 가치관에서 착안하여 지어진 이름입니다. 로마 숫자 XCIX(99)는 완벽을 향한 마지막 한 걸음을 뜻합니다. 100에 거의 다다랐지만, 아직 그 경계를 넘지 않은 상태. 이는 디자인의 세계에서 창조의 무한한 가능성을 상징합니다. 완벽을 추구하지만, 그 도달점에서 멈추지 않고 끊임없이 재해석하고, 새로운 시각을 더해 나가는 것. 우리의 작업은 항상 진화하며, 완성은 다음 단계로 넘어가는 출발점이 됩니다. XCIX 로고의 'XC'는 서체에 시각적 요소를 붙여 고풍스럽고 화려한 면모를 지닌 세리프 서체를 사용하고 뒤에오는 IX는 현대에서 가장 많이 사용되는 산세리프 서체로 형 그대로에 집중할 수 있도록 단순화하여 표현됐습니다. 이것은 미래지향적이며 가능성의 탐구와 범용적인 시야를 뜻합니다. XCIX는 완벽을 향한 여정에서 오는 즐거움을 믿습니다. 우리는 고객에게 단순한 디자인이 아닌, 무한한 창의성의 가능성을 제안합니다. 완성은 끝이 아니라, 새로운 시작입니다. 우리의 디자인은 언제나 그 미묘한 1%를 탐구하고, 99에서 완전함을 느끼는 브랜드입니다.
