Blue Forest Garden is situated between the Han River and Olympic Park, two of Korea’s iconic public parks. A public walkway traverses, shaping a resting area where the waterscape merges with the forest.
A pond and two contrasting water expressions, water cascading and surging, were designed. Dense plantings of pine and American sweetgum create a forest-like atmosphere.
People can enjoy the scenery variously by four viewing points. At the lowest, a cluster of circular resting spaces is located. Floating pedestrian decks with shifting elevations weave through the site. Protruding observatory and a duplex tea house frame expansive views.

Blue Forest Garden은 다양한 층위에서 강과 숲의 풍경을 함께 감상할 수 있는 곳입니다.
해당 부지는 한국의 대표 공공 공원인 한강과 올림픽공원 사이에 위치합니다. 두 공원이 연결되는 이곳에, 공공보행통로를 중심으로 한강의 수경과 올림픽공원의 녹음이 결합된 공간을 만들었습니다.
하부에 넓은 연못을 조성해 강물을 공동주택 내부에 표현했습니다. 연못 내부에는 물이 위에서 아래로 떨어지고, 아래에서 위로 솟아 오르는 두가지 종류의 노즐을 설치했습니다. 수경시설 주변으로 소나무∙미국풍나무∙서어나무 등의 수목을 밀도 있게 식재하여 숲 같은 풍성한 녹음도 느껴지도록 하였습니다.
이용자들이 다양한 높이와 각도에서 경관을 감상할 수 있도록 레벨에 따른 4가지 층위의 조망점을 만들었습니다. 최하단에는 클러스터 형식의 원형 휴게 공간(1)을 조성했고, 공간 전반에 걸쳐 레벨이 점진적으로 변하는 뜬구조의 보행데크(2)를 설치했습니다. 보행데크 최상단에 위치한 돌출 전망대(3)와 복층 티하우스(4)에서는 탁 트인 경관을 내려다볼 수 있습니다. 이용자들이 사방으로 펼쳐진 파노라마 뷰를 감상할 수 있도록 티하우스 2층에는 전면으로 투명한 유리를 설치했습니다.
