| English | The main feature of the exterior of the newly built Changwon Library is the central staircase leading to the library. We accepted the meaning of the world's first public library and the stairs of the Laurentian Library built by Michelangelo as inspiration to go up to the library, the space of light and truth, from a low place where there is ignorance of darkness through these stairs. The symbol that has symbolized has been renewed to evolve into the light of knowledge. This was developed so that the oriented value of Changwon Library can become an image that shows the sincerity of becoming a public library in the future. |
| Native | 창원도서관의 리브랜딩 개발은 공공도서관의 본질에서 시작됩니다. 창원도서관이 새로워지는 이유역시 변하지 않는 기회의 평등 가치를 통해 개인의 잠재적 역량이 시대정신에 걸맞게 실현 할 수 있도록 조력하기 위함이기 때문입니다. 신축한 창원도서관 외관의 가장 큰 특징은 도서관에 입장하기 위하여 오르는 중앙 계단입니다. 계단은 창원도서관에서 중요한 구조이자 매우 아름다운 건축 요소로 그 외관의 이미지를 풍부하게 하고 있는데, 우리는 이 계단에서 발을 내딛는 순간부터 창원도서관의 브랜드 경험으로 연결짓는 발현점으로 정의하고 세계 최초의 공공도서관이자 미켈란젤로가 건축한 라우렌치아나 도서관 입구의 계단이 가지는 의미인 어둠의 무지가 있는 낮은곳에서 빛의 진리가 가득한 공간인 도서관으로 올라가는것을 디자인의 표현전략의 영감으로 받아들이고 확장시키게 되었습니다. 그리하여 지난 30여년을 지탱해오며 지역시민과 사회에 문화기관으로 기여를 하며 도서관의 자산으로 인식 되어온 창원도서관을 상징적 비주얼 아이덴티티를 지식의 빛이 되어 진화하는 심볼의 형태감으로 리뉴얼하였으며 이는 창원도서관의 지향가치가 일관성의 이야기로 강조될 수 있는 아이덴티티가 되어 지역을 위한 공공도서관으로서 그 진정성을 보여주는 창원도서관 이미지가 되어 질 수 있도록 개발 하였습니다. |
