Hueum is a home cafe tableware brand, inspired by the unique colors of nature with the theme of ‘sustainability’ and ‘uniqueness’, containing ‘colors of nature that we want to preserve for a long time’. The existing logo had many messages to convey, which led to complexity and the problem of not being able to capture the attention of consumers. To solve this, we conducted a rebranding and focused on condensing many messages contained in the existing logo into relaxation and leisure. We made it possible to form an emotional bond by allowing people to leisurely capture their attention and look into Hueum’s philosophy.

휴움은 자연주의를 표방하는 프리미엄 식기 브랜드이다. 우리는 브랜드디자인을 통해 자연에서의 휴식, 힐링. 영감을 받는 형태를 시각적으로 표현하였다. 브랜드 타이포 중 직선과 곡선은 나무와 산, 비와 바람에서의 느낌을 형태화 하여 적용하였고, 컬러시스템 역시 자연을 바탕으로 구성하되 우리가 의도한 자연주의가 소비자에게 편하게 전달될 수 있도록 했다. 기존 로고에선 전달하고자 하는 메시지가 많아 복잡성을 띠어, 정작 소비자의 시선을 담아내지 못한다는 문제점과 연결되었다. 이는 브랜드와 소비자 간 감정적 유대 형성에 어려움이 되었다. 이를 해결하기 위해 리브랜딩을 진행하며, 기존 로고에 담긴 많은 메시지를 휴식과 여유로움으로 함축하는 데에 집중했다. 시선을 여유롭게 담아내며 휴움의 철학을 들여다볼 수 있게 하여 감정적 유대를 형성할 수 있도록 하였다. 휴움의 워드마크는 넓은 자간으로 여유로움을 제공한다. 도자기를 형상하는 U는 시선을 편안하게 담겠다는 모토를 담았다. 리브랜딩을 통해 소비자들은 휴움이 제공하는 여유로움을 시각적으로 전달받고, 브랜드의 메시지를 여유롭게 받아들이게 되었다. 일상 속에서 따뜻한 차 한 잔의 시간을 공유하고, 온전한 쉼과 여유를 선사하고자 한 휴움은 여유로움을 제공하고 소비자와 감정적인 유대를 형성하게 되었다.
