‘Packing of the city’ is a public service app based on voice recognition that integrately implemented the needs of Suwon citizens excavated by the ‘re-design thinking’ process. This was designed for citizens to return various ideas and public services to a better direction and to eliminate the 'digital divide' of the new social disparity in the digital age. In particular, It has solved bring the appearance of endangered wildlife (endangered creature 'Tree Frog Character') closer to the citizens' everyday lives. It is implemented through ‘Packing of the city’ that is prototypes of newly developed 'Suwon Integrated Public Information System'.

이 앱은 시민들이 다양한 아이디어와 공공 서비스를 더 나은 방향으로 돌려주고 디지털 시대의 새로운 사회적 불균형의 '디지털 격차'를 없애기 위해 고안되었습니다. 수원시와 함께 진행했던 이번 프로젝트에서 우리는 단순히 시민의 의견을 수집하는 차원을 넘어서서 시민들이 주류가 되어 진정한 거버넌스를 이루기를 희망하였습니다. 이를 위해 단국대학교의 SW 디자인 융합센터의 '리디자인 씽킹 프로세스'를 적용하여 시민의 니즈를 적극적으로 솔루션에 반영 할 수 있도록 하였습니다. 이를 통해 우리는 특히 멸종 위기에 놓인 야생 생물의 모습(멸종위기생물인 '수원청개구리 캐릭터')을 시민의 일상 생활에 더욱 가깝게 접근할 수 있도록 했습니다. 또한 다양한 상호작용들을 어떻게 하면 보다 더 효과적으로 활용할 수 있을지를 시민들과 함께 고민했고, 이를 정책과 연결하여 실제 서비스 개발을 추진하고 있습니다. 이것은 수원시에서 새로 구현하고자 하는 '수원 공공 정보 통합 시스템'의 프로토타입의 일부 입니다.
