The original space is transformed into an open-concept sphere with sections of different functions such as a bar counter, a tea-savoring room, and a living room, while the master bedroom is retained for rest. The entire space is highly experimental, making use of diverse materials and different techniques for a unique interplay of stone, wood, mirror and special paint. In so doing, this space, modeled on nature, is an exclusive spatial experience that is both harmonious and mellow.

玄關入口處以鋪滿細碎卵石及成塊玄武岩的地坪迎賓，兩側的木質壁櫃與竹枝的造型建構出特有的日式山水風情，營造出讓身心瞬間轉化的寧靜過場。主要活動區的木座吧台和相連的客廳，像迎接人們的溫暖臂膀，讓人忍不住想靠近、逗留。吧檯品酒區，以實木壁面與格柵搭接，建構垂直向度的線性語彙，屋主收藏的酒類藏品則巧妙地安置在與電視櫃連成一氣的櫃體內，兼顧空間的整體性與流暢動線。入口壁櫃延伸至客廳的電視櫃，結合傳統日式住宅「床柱」功能的樹幹木構，搭配特殊漆料塗裝及仿木紋清水模的背牆，形塑著新舊交疊、亙古會今的質感空間。客廳後方架高地坪與開放式設計的品茗茶室，讓室內在營造寬廣無遮蔽的視覺氛圍之餘，仍保有機能空間的範圍界域。品茶室取材於大自然，以木、竹子、藺草、榻榻米、原木展示櫃等材質混搭 ; 天花也以灰鏡將大樑巧妙隱形，藉由其反射效果降低室內壓迫感之外更放大空間。壁櫃與木階部分藉由隱藏燈帶，以間接光創造低調內斂的質感情境。客廳落地窗外的露臺，以日式庭院枯山水手法，透過碎石、石燈打造乾景，延伸室內與室外的穿透感，同時與玄關的禪風山水相呼應。整體空間規劃以完整的實驗精神，讓多元材料、不同工法透過精準的異材質搭配拼接、石、木、鏡面與特殊漆等交織應用，在師法自然的空間中呈現和諧、溫潤又獨特的空間體驗。
