The spatial design of this project is unconventional, bold, and avant garde. From the open round podium, the reading area with tables and chairs, to the reading space near the windows, individuals will enjoy their reading time without any spatial limits. Depending on multiple possibilities and purposes, the user experience could be relaxing, spiritual, interactive, or solemn. Therefore, reading is no longer a boring matter for individuals; it will be interesting and enchanting. On top of that, the maple trees, marks on the traditional concrete building, and the natural landscape on campus are introduced into the library.

本案以「溫暖、可安頓」的形式築構這莊嚴的知識殿堂，以此褒揚教育者們在學術上的良心與堅持。設計者認為，歷經苦難而不放棄希望，是愛的崇高表現，因此相信流浪的靈魂、書及手稿若能獲得安頓，便是最令人欣慰之處。藉此，冀望該共享空間形成巨大的能量，讓教育者們的智慧得以延續。本案顛覆以往圖書館的制式空間規劃，改採大膽突破、具前瞻性的設計手法擘劃空間。從開放式的圓形講台、陳列桌椅的閱讀區及鄰近窗邊的臥榻式閱讀空間等，讓使用者擁有不同型態的閱讀模式，可以是輕鬆愜意的，可以是陶冶性靈的，亦可以是交流互動的，或者是嚴肅莊重的，賦予空間多重的使用可能。藉此，讓「閱讀」一事不再顯得枯燥乏味，而是能變得妙趣橫生，令人陶醉其中。另外，將校園中的老楓樹、傳統的水泥建築印記與自然紋理等元素帶入新的空間，如同過往記憶與新的場域相互揉合，以表現承襲前人智慧並向未來邁進的意象
