My Little Dolmen reinterprets the Ganghwa Bugeun-ri Dolmen, one of Korea’s representative prehistoric heritage sites, through a contemporary lens. By softening the rigid table-type structure into flowing curves and pastel tones, the object becomes a collectible of personal taste across generations. The material shift from stone to transparent resin allows light to pass through, positioning the dolmen as a medium that connects the past and the present through light. Through this transformation, the dolmen is reimagined not as a static relic but as living heritage within everyday life.

My Little Dolmen은 고인돌의 산지로 알려진 대한민국의 대표적인 선사 유산인 ‘강화도 부근리 고인돌’을 새로운 감각으로 재해석한 오브제 제품입니다. 탁자형 고인돌의 구조는 유지하되 고인돌 원형이 갖는 기존의 거칠고 단단한 각을 덜어내고, 유연한 곡선적 조형으로 단순화한 형태와 부드러운 파스텔톤의 색감을 통해 세대를 넘어 고인돌을 취향의 대상이자 소장 가능한 오브제로 확장시킵니다. 또한 석재에서 투명한 레진으로의 소재 전환을 통해 거석이 차단하던 빛을 내부로 끌어들여 고인돌 자체가 과거와 현재를 연결하는 투과적 장치로 작동하도록 합니다. 이렇게 오브제를 통과하는 빛은 선사시대에서 현재에 이르기까지 이어지는 시간을 시각적으로 표현하며 고인돌을 멈춰 있는 유산이 아닌 현재와 연결된 존재로 인식하게 합니다. 고인돌은 과거에 머무는 유적이 아니라 시간이 넘나드는 매개체로 새롭게 해석됩니다. 이러한 해석의 연장선에서 My Little Dolmen은 과거의 역사 유산이 오늘의 일상 안에서 어떻게 새로운 의미로 살아갈 수 있는지를 질문합니다.
