Hotel BEGINS is a cultural hotel in Keelung rooted in the history of the former Northern Thermal Power Plant and its workers’ dormitories. Through adaptive reuse and spatial reinterpretation, it reconnects industrial heritage with contemporary life. Integrating local fishing culture, marine conservation, and sustainable design, the hotel aligns with global SDGs and promotes coexistence, co-creation, and shared value. Hotel BEGINS invites travelers to engage with place, memory, and a future shaped by sustainability and local revitalization.

Hotel BEGINS 位於基隆深澳，前身所在為臺灣電力發展史重要節點——北部火力發電廠的生活圈核心。北火電廠曾是全東南亞規模最大的火力發電設施，支撐北臺灣數十年的能源需求，也形塑了完整的產業聚落與員工宿舍生活。隨著電廠除役與海科館進駐，工業遺址轉化為知識與永續的場域，而 Hotel BEGINS 則成為延續地方記憶的重要節點。飯店以「空間再詮釋」回應已消逝的日式宿舍群，不重建形式，而重拾生活精神，讓產業與日常的節奏重新連結當代。品牌理念融合文化保存、在地產業與永續環保，與基隆漁港、潮境公園及海洋保育行動共生共構，並回應 SDGs 城鄉永續、責任消費與海洋生態保育。在設計上，Hotel BEGINS 以工業幾何語彙結合輕工業風格，並大量運用回收漁網燈、船舶燈具與綠化植栽，實踐再生設計與自然循環。這不只是一間旅宿，而是一段持續展開的開始，邀請旅人與地方共同創造下一頁故事。
