The building, thoughtfully positioned to embrace the existing vegetation, rocks, and natural spring water, is a regenerative house that not only allows residents to live in close connection with nature but also actively enriches it by stimulating microorganisms in the soil and restoring natural cycles. 日本列島の南部に位置する屋久島は、年間を通じて雨量が多く、その高い降雨量と山岳地帯の地形を活かして、水力発電によって電力需要のほぼ100％を供給しています。この建築は、既存の植生や岩、湧水などの自然環境を活かすように配置されており、自然と密接に暮らすだけでなく、土中の微生物を活性化し、自然の循環そのものを再生・豊かにすることを目的としたリジェネラティブハウスです。生命を尊重する倫理的な枠組みに基づく「ヴィーガンハウス」という概念は、これまでのサステナビリティの原則を再定義するものです。 1. 植物由来の素材 – 動物由来の製品を使用しない 2. 倫理的な共生 – 生息環境を保護し、共生を育む 3. 再生的実践 – 環境を修復し、豊かにしていく
