The idea of building a “ bridge” in a coffee shop surprised the owner of the cafe. Strong wire ropes extend from the ceiling of the second floor are holding the stairs, which is alike the structure of a suspension bridge. Conceptually, the Bridge represents the intuitive connection between individuals. Moreover, the first floor and second floor each represent the concept of complexity and simplicity, which is referred to the diverse personalities of humankind.

〝美〞是屬於視覺的感受，在任何的形式中都可以有美的存在，在簡單的形式中有一種單純、寧靜的美，在複雜的形式中可以具有多層次、豐富的美，而這兩種形式(簡單與複雜)也可以並存在一個空間之中。這個個案是為一對年輕夫妻所設計的，那是他們心目中所期望能擁有的小咖啡廳。這個小空間共分成上下兩層，總面積約為140.9平方公尺，在設計的核心概念上是以連接一樓與二樓的樓梯做為表現重點，以〝線〞作為造型發展的基礎，以鋼索牽引的樓梯造型貫穿上下兩層，無論是一樓壁面的複雜線條造型組合與二樓簡單、乾淨的表現，在最純淨的白與黑色調的統合下，形成一個可令人清靜、明亮的空間。在咖啡店裡建一座“橋”的想法使咖啡館的主人感到驚訝。從二樓的天花板延伸出來的堅固的鋼絲繩固定著樓梯，就像懸索橋的結構一樣。從概念上講，橋樑代表了個人之間的直觀聯繫。此外，第一層和第二層分別代表複雜性和簡單性的概念，被稱為人類的多種個性。
