English	The client's brief called for a private family retreat and spaces for entertainment and hosting. The villa is divided into two portions with the reflecting pond positioned in the central yard that allows the users to enjoy the tranquil scenery from both sides. The main building that houses the private bedrooms sits on the front yard while the tea and dining pavilion for entertainment sits on the back that opens out into the landscape. Taking inspiration from nature - an earthy yet subtle color palette was proposed. The rounded edges and modern lines of the exterior reveal the concept of simplicity with a modern oriental touch.
