Inspired by a mathematical shape called the ‘mobius strip’, the aerospace museum located near the Chandigarh international airport proposes a design that celebrates form and function working simultaneously like two halves of a brain.
In the aerospace museum, the prime focus is the circulation that gives direction to the visitors throughout the journey. Providing the visitor with various viewpoints, the project is a blend of spaces varying in form and scale: from the sweeping hangar to cosy galleries and transparent bridges to the central plaza.
