The expressions of traditional and modern are shown in obvious contrast using a new mass. The stage is located at the courtyard to make audiences enjoy a show with drinks. Seats are created by extending and overlapping the terrace. The folding screen behind the stage is role of an orchestra shell, and the wall is made of Korean-ish materials designed to create a rich reverberation. The iconic colors of the Orchestra costume which are Yellow, blue, and red are used as lighting and finishes. It is intended to provide a space where visitors can feel Korean emotion by harmony of traditional and modern architecture.

비담은 전통양식과 현대양식의 표현을 새로운 매스를 활용하여 극명한 대비를 보여준다. 음료를 마시며 소공연을 즐길 수 있도록 중정(Courtyard)에 무대를 두었고, 대청(Terrace)을 연장하고 중첩하여 객석을 조성하였다. 무대 뒤 병풍은 오케스트라 쉘의 역할을 담당하고, 벽면은 한국적인 소재로 구성하여 풍부한 실내 잔향을 만들어 내기 위해 설계되었다. 궁중악단의 상징적인 의복컬러인 노랑, 파랑, 빨강을 조명과 마감재로 사용하였다. 한국 전통건축과 현대건축의 조화로 사용자에게 한국의 정서를 느낄 수 있는 공간을 제공하고자 하였다.
