The five terraces are composed of green patches, pond and cascade, and rest decks. The green patches form a landscape of natural forest with indigenous trees, shrubs, moss, and ferns. When mist is sprayed from the automatic mist systems, it altogether displays far more mystic and magical image of woods veiled in mist. Rest terraces in between green patches are pleasantly enclosed by nature; Looking downward from the deck, you would feel very comfortable. Each terrace at different level provides with different experience from respective heights. Through the cascade flowing from the top to the bottom, the terraces are connected to form a whole.

그린 캐스케이드를 구성하는 다섯 단의 테라스는 식재 패치, 폰드와 캐스케이드, 그리고 휴게 데크로 구성되어 있습니다. 녹지는 한국 자생종 수목들과 이끼류, 양치식물이 식재되어 자생 숲 경관을 보여주는데, 여기에 미스트까지 더해져 한층 더 신비로운 안개 속 숲의 이미지를 연출합니다. 사이사이에 배치된 휴게 테라스는 자연에 둘러싸여 아래를 내려다 보는 경험을 하기에 적당한 위요감을 지니고 있습니다. 각각의 단은 저마다의 높이에서 각기 다른 경관의 경험을 가능하게 합니다. 위 아래의 테라스들은 그 사이를 흐르는 캐스케이드로서 연결되고 하나의 경관을 만들어냅니다.
Judging Comments
Green Cascade, designed by Samsung C&T, received the 'Gold Winner' at the Asia Design Prize 2024. The design's integration of green patches, ponds, cascades, and rest decks into urban terraces creates a harmonious natural environment.
