Seniors have relied on manual walkers and wheelchairs for a long time. GENTROAD introduced a shared electric walker designed for seniors in their 70s and 80s to address the problems and costs of traditional manual walkers. By addressing the drawbacks of conventional manual walkers, GENTROAD incorporates Segway technology to reduce the physical effort required for walking and introduces a wheelchair mode, offering users the option of resting during their walks. GENTROAD aims to revitalize the senior community and promote the well-being of seniors, thus becoming a valuable asset for their health and mobility.

오래전부터 거동이 불편한 시니어들은 보행기나 휠체어를 필수적으로 이용해 왔습니다. GENTROAD에 안전한 세그웨이를 적용하여 보다 적은 힘으로 보행기를 사용할 수 있으며, 휠체어 모드를 도입하여 사용자에게 보행 중 휴식을 제안했습니다. GENTROAD는 고령 시니어들, 특히 70-80대 시니어를 위한 공유 전동 보행기로, 기존 수동 보행기의 브레이크의 문제점과 비용 부담을 개선했습니다. 기존 수동 보행기 브레이크의 큰 힘이 요구되는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 세그웨이가 장착된 전동 보행기를 제안했습니다. 또한 특허 '공유 킥보드 통합 이용 플랫폼'을 활용하여 최초 잠금 해제 후 거리 우선 요금제를 도입하여 사용자의 경제적 부담을 덜어주었습니다. 이로써 시니어들은 외출을 유도하여 산책의 즐거움을 더욱 느낄 수 있게 되며, 이는 시니어의 우울증 완화 및 신체 능력 유지에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것입니다. GENTROAD는 이러한 비전을 바탕으로 시니어 커뮤니티를 더욱 활성화시키고, 시니어의 건강을 지켜주는 것을 목표로 합니다.
