The Wind Library Garden is located in front of the children’s library, expanding the library’s function into the outdoors and creating a place where all generations can enjoy and communicate.
To take advantage of this view, an outdoor Duplex Book Café has been created. Circular benches on the first floor allow visitors to enjoy the scenery, and Rest facilities on the second floor provide an open, panoramic view.
A pedestrian deck is laid alongside the Urban Ventilation Corridor and the stream. In addition, a child-reading sculpture, created in collaboration with an artist, brings moments of delight as people discover it while walking.

The Wind Library Garden은 공동주택 내 어린이 도서관 전면에 위치한 공간으로 도서관의 기능을 야외까지 확장 시켜 모든 전계층이 공간을 즐기고 소통하는 공간을 계획하였습니다.
도서관을 중심으로 통경축이 생성되어 열린 경관을 볼 수 있습니다. 이를 조망하기 위해 야외 복층 북카페를 조성하여 1층에는 경관을 차경할 수 있는 원형의 벤치를 설치하고, 2층에는 휴게시설물을 배치하여 탁 트인 경관을 조망하면서 독서할 수 있는 공간을 조성하였습니다.
야외 복층 북카페의 외관 디자인은 전체적으로 브라운과 골드 톤의 색상을 통해 고급스럽고 차분한 분위기를 연출하였고, 벽체에 유리 난간과 곡선형의 펀칭 웨이브 스틸을 활용하여 경쾌함과 조형성을 부여하였습니다.
공간을 관통하는 바람길을 따라 조성된 수경 폰드는 공간 전체를 흐르는 물길을 형성합니다. 바람길과 흐르는 물길을 따라 보행데크를 조성하고 수관폭이 넓은 나무를 식재하여 쾌적한 그늘을 형성하였습니다. 또한 아티스트와 협업하여 책 읽는 아이 형상의 조형물을 설치하여 길을 걷다 발견하는 즐거움과 유머를 더하였습니다.
