Balancing desire and responsibility remains a significant challenge. Cultivated meat technology enables home production without slaughtering animals, tailored to individual preferences.
MEET boldly embraces future desires, offering an innovative experience where cultivated meat technology stimulates users' sensory cravings. MEET combines a service for customizing meat data with a product that prints the meat accordingly. Desire is fundamental to human nature and has fueled progress. We hope MEET inspires reflection on our desires that coexist with nature and broadens the question of "What should I eat today?"

축산업이 전 세계 모든 교통수단의 온실가스 배출량보다 많은 상황이지만, 갈수록 육류에 대한 식탐은 커져가고 있습니다. 맛있는 고기에 대한 욕망과 환경에 대한 책임 사이의 딜레마는 여전히 미해결 숙제입니다.
배양육 기술은 가정에서 가축을 죽이지 않고 개인의 요구에 맞춰 고기를 생성할 수 있는 가능성을 열어주었습니다. 2030, 인류는 욕망과 자연의 순환 중 무엇 하나 포기하지 않고 고기를 생성하는 새로운 식문화를 즐깁니다.
MEET는 나의 취향에 맞는 배양육을 커스텀할 수 있는 앱 서비스와, 그 데이터를 기반으로 배양육을 생성해주는 제품으로 이루어져있습니다. 기존 ESG 프로젝트가 자연을 위해 욕망을 타협했다면, MEET는 배양육이라는 혁신적인 기술이 유저의 감각적 욕구를 자극할 수 있는 경험을 제안해 미래의 욕망을 과감하게 받아들이는 메시지를 전달합니다.
욕망은 인간의 본질이자 특별함이며, 인류의 발전과 개발 역사를 이끌어왔습니다. 현재의 기술, 환경, 문화 변화 기반의 미래 비저닝을 통해 새롭게 제안될 MEET의 육류 식문화가 우리에게 자연과 공존할 수 있는 인간다운 욕망에 대해 한 번쯤 생각해 보는 계기가 되어 주기를, 더 나아가 우리의 일상 속에서 ”오늘 뭐 먹지”라는 고민의 개념과 대상을 확장해 주기를 바랍니다.
