As XR devices become commercially available, there will be many situations where multiple users need to move data simultaneously, such as meetings, collaborations, and exhibitions. In these situations, modal-based data movement methods are deeply cumbersome and require users to perform unnecessary actions such as selecting files repeatedly. NEO: Palette enables users to intuitively move data such as text, images, videos, and files to their desired destination in a single step by putting data into palette-like components. This reduces the user's learning curve and helps them immerse themselves in their work contexts more effectively.

XR 디바이스 및 관련 서비스가 더욱 상용화되면 회의, 공동작업, 전시회 등 다수의 사용자가 동시에 데이터를 이동시키는 상황이 빈번해질 것입니다. 이러한 상황에서 파일 선택창과 같은 모달을 기반으로 하던 데이터 이동 방식은 뎁스가 깊어 번거로울 뿐만 아니라, 사용자가 파일을 선택하는 불필요한 동작을 반복적으로 수행하게 합니다. NEO: Palette는 XR환경에서의 데이터 이동을 돕는 UI 컴포넌트입니다. 물감을 묻혀 원하는 곳에 바로 그리는 팔레트에서 인터랙션 모티프를 얻었습니다. 팔레트 형태의 컴포넌트에 데이터를 담음으로써 텍스트, 이미지, 동영상, 파일과 같은 데이터를 사용자가 원하는 목적지까지 한번에 직관적으로 이동시킬 수 있습니다. 이는 XR 사용자의 러닝커브를 줄이고 흥미를 높이는데 효과적입니다. 이를 통해 데이터를 다양한 각도로 그룹핑을 하거나, 중요한 데이터에 애니메이션을 부여하여 강조할 수 있습니다. 데이터에 너무 몰입하다보면 데이터를 사랑하거나 직접 찢어서 삭제할 수도 있습니다. 이는 곧 데이터의 활용범위와 방식이 확장되는 것을 의미하며, 사용자가 데이터 자체는 물론 업무 컨택스트에 효과적으로 몰입하도록 돕습니다.
